Ol Roddy B's sure been busy today!

Wow, it must be great to be soon-to-be-very-ex Illinois guv Rod Blagojevich. What must this man be thinking?

"Hmm... it really doesn't look good for me, what with this impeachment trial and all. Should I show up at the trial and defend myself? Nah... better not do what my lead counsel says. Damn... where the hell are my lawyers going? Oh well, I'm a smart guy and I've got great hair for TV, so rather than resign with some tattered shred of honor or show up at my trial for my political life, I'll make the New York interview circuit! That'll impress the Senate and win back the skeptical public!!"

Somehow, I sense epic, epic fail with this timeless strategy. Nixon must be rolling in his casket seeing how the new politicos handle career-nuking missteps.

And you wonder why America is teetering off a cliff, when men like this are put into positions of power and trust... by US??? Clearly, a better set of leaders to choose from is in order for our future prosperity.
